VTIS: An Evening at the Intersection of Art & Science
Dear Members and Friends,
For anyone interested in art and science – or simply curious – you are invited to attend a SciArt event hosted by VTIS* on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Multimodal Media Lab (MML), 375 Water Street, Room 645, Vancouver, BC.
This will be the first VTIS gathering in Vancouver, offering an intimate introduction to SCI_ART. Join VTIS for an evening connecting Slovenians and friends of Slovenia through art, science and photography.

*VTIS (V tujini izobraženi Slovenci) is a non‑profit association that connects Slovenians who have studied or conducted research abroad. The organization supports knowledge exchange between the global Slovenian community and Slovenia through mentorship, career development programs, and networking opportunities. VTIS works with universities, institutions, and community groups to strengthen ties between Slovenians worldwide and those living in Slovenia.
