About us

Slovenian Society Vancouver is a non profit organization established in 1958. The mission of Slovenian Society Vancouver is to unite Slovenians who live in Vancouver and Lower Mainland to keep slovenian tradition, language, singing, dancing, playing and the most important to socialize.  And let’s not forget, to enjoy the slovenian culinary arts.

The heart of our activities is  Slovenian hall, which is located at 5762 Sprott Street in Burnaby, BC. The hall was purchased in 1972 and is used for our cultural and social events including the Slovenian school.

Slovenian hall is serving slovenians and other nations from Vancouver. The hall is available for rent and it accepts 150 people. There is gated parking available and it accepts around 60 vehicles.
